Work A Little Punk Into Your Wedding
Thanks to the Met using punk as the theme for its gala -- and for the Costume Institute's exhibit -- punk is definitely having a moment. There's no need to shy away from it for your wedding, especially since lots of designers are incorporating a little edge into their designs this year. (Think Vera Wang and her black accents for Spring 2014.)
Even if you're the most traditional bride on the planet, you can still work a little edge into your big day -- or at least the rehearsal dinner. Check out the picks we found below of punk-inspired jewelry that's totally appropriate for a walk down the aisle.

You Can Never Have Too Many Ideas For Bridesmaids Gifts
Oh, bridesmaids. They may sometimes drive you crazy, but then they go and organize an amazing shower for you or a kick ass bachelorette party. They also agreed to spend time and money on your big day, so a token of thanks is in order.
But what to give? Tote bags are lame and claiming the jewelry they'll wear with the bridesmaid dress is a cop out for getting something they might really like. We came up a few suggestions that any gal would want. All shiny!

Off The Registry Gifts That Won't Be Re-Gifted
We all know that bride: the one that freaks out or is vaguely offended when she gets a gift that wasn't on her official registry. But sometimes registries get sold out, or you're not comfortable giving money at a wedding. You need to send a gift but don't want it to turn into a dust collector in the back of the closet.
Fear not. We found some great options any bride and groom would love to have picked out themselves. No martini glasses or shakers, because I don't know anyone who really comes home and makes themselves one. Instead, these are practical suggestions that the newlyweds will actually use.
Three piece salad set: Even if they already have one you can never have too many large bowls and serving utensils. #Truth.
Elk Oval Platter: No home is complete without a platter with antlers on it.
With a matching casserole dish, of course.
Beach blanket: Because you never have enough or one that's quite right.
Walnut cutting boards: Good cutting boards are harder to find than a life partner. And in different sizes? Sign me up.
Nice Ass Tea Cup and Saucer: Keep the fire alive.
